Sugitra is a shop gaining attention for its Western-style confections that incorporate the essence of Kyoto, including gelato made with seasonal ingredients and a cookie tin containing eight varieties of baked sweets.
In commemoration of the opening of the Kyoto Tower Sand shop in 2023, Chef Sugita created the BUTTER SAND COOKIES in a Cute Can, which is limited to Kyoto Tower Sand shop. Each meticulously crafted flavor by the pastry chef is packed into a cute can featuring illustrations of Kyoto Tower and more.
Upon opening the lid, a gentle waft of buttery aroma fills the air. Inside, there are three different sandwich variations, with buttercream sandwiched between cookies, each with a unique flavor. Among them, the one filled with hazelnut cream between vanilla and chocolate cookies is particularly popular. When frozen, the cream takes on an ice cream-like texture, providing a different and enjoyable taste experience.
