Under the guidance of professional craftsmen, we introduce a hands-on workshop where you can make your own original KYO-GASHI using matcha green tea and/or wasanbon sugar. You will be able to experience traditional Japanese culture while making seasonal traditional Japanese sweets. Experience the fusion of taste and art unique to Kyoto.
This site introduces hands-on workshops conducted by long-established Kyoto confectionary shop, not those for foreigners for tourists. Some workshops allow you to actually make the Kyogashi they sell.
Some do not have explanations in English, but we can go with you and interpret for you. We can also help you with reservations.
